Starting Again...

Oh, hey there. Long time no blog!


Without going into a lot of extra details, I'm just saying that life reared its ugly head and blogging definitely slipped down the ladder of priorities.


After a period with its fair shares of ups and downs, Akri and I have decided to try again with the D/s aspect of our relationship. It never really went away, per se, just kind of fell to the back burner. I'm a bit apprehensive, but excited. He knows the reasons for my apprehension, and I think He understands. What's important is that I love Him, and He loves me. That's what really matters.Of course living with my mother makes the whole thing a bit more complicated. I think we can work through it.

Well I'm sleepy, and for once I'm awake when He gets home from work, so I'm going to bug him a bit before hitting the hay.

So I fail...

At remembering to blog on a regular basis. I'm going to try to get better about it, however. Its one of my New Years resolutions. I know Master likes to read, even if its just my random thinking and ramblings, and I really think using the prompts and the like help me focus on my submission.

With the holidays coming, its been a flurry of activity. (Blessed Yule to everyone!)  I've been working like crazy, including more than a few 3 am shifts. Ugh, how I hate those. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after are going to be pretty insane as well. We have activities with Master's family Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas, and my family on Christmas day.

We finally got the collar back from being remade (it had been too small, and Vad from RingofSteel was kind enough to let us return it and he made a new one in a bigger size.) It fits wonderfully now, even though I cannot wear it 24/7 (I cannot wear it to sleep, asthma problems.)

Master is also considering the idea of a custom tattoo to mark me. Nothing like a name or anything, just a design, like a dragon or something. *shrugs* We'll see what happens. For now, its time to relax and enjoy not having to go to bed at 7:00 pm for work.

Thoughts...

So as I sit here waiting for Master to get home from work, I can't help but think about our time earlier before work. It felt so wonderful to just connect with Him and make love like that, knowing that I am His, no matter what.

Being on my knees in front of Him, or in His arms in bed, brings be joy and contentment like nothing else. Its a calming, soothing feeling, like an aloe balm on tender skin. I just hope He realizes how happy He makes me, and how much I treasure being His. He is my everything.

Other than everything with Him, I have been busy working. I also signed up for 3 classes for the Spring semester. I'm rather excited.

Oddly, I have been feeling even more cat-like than usual lately. Rather quiet, desire to lounge (play games, read, nap,) and especially cuddly. I really hope He doesn't mind.

Well off I go, I'm rather tired and can't think of much else to say for today. <3

Oops!

Omg. once I again, I get all wrapped up in working and everything else, and I forget to post.

Things between Master and I are great. Thursday night, he asked me to go out after he was done with bowling, and we went to a park that overlooks the river. While it was incredibly cold, it was nice just to enjoy the peacefulness of the night with him. Turns out, he had received the ring back from the jewelers that morning, and formally asked me to marry him and placed the ring on my finger. :D

I've been over the moon, and about the only problem he and I have been having is battling his addiction to porn. I love him more than anything, but it really bothers me, thanks to a lot of issues I have from past relationships. He is looking at it less and less, and I am really trying to trust him. Its incredibly hard though. :(

Well I am off for now, I don't have much else to say without blabbering, and he will be home from work soon.

Ack!

I totally didn't mean to disappear from the blogosphere like that. Life kinda reared its ugly head, but I am back at Master's request.

First up on the list of new things. On October 2nd, Master collared me with a stainless steel collar from RingofSteel.com. :D I knew He had ordered it, but He had been teasing me about making me wait to be collared, even after He received it. I have not been able to wear it 24/7, as I often have trouble with asthma during my sleep, and I am also unable to wear it at work due to dress code requirements. But I wear it when I can, and definitely miss it when I don't have it on.

Next on the list, Master and I are engaged! He plans on formally asking when He gets the ring back from being sized, but we've decided to start telling our friends and  family. I'm positively elated, and Master is even excited to look at wedding things with me, even though the actual wedding won't be until Fall 2012. We want to save up for exactly what we want. :D

Master and I had a rather lazy morning this morning, including some amazing sex. :) Slow sometimes, rough at others.... yum. I am a happy kitten today. The only thing dragging that down is that the next two mornings I have to be to work at 3 am. Maybe I'll get lucky and have something to look forward to when I get off work. *winks*

With that, I am off. I'm behind on doing laundry and need to cook dinner. Chicken Lo Mein... Master is at work til late, which I guess is good because he doesn't like all the veggies I put in it. Hopefully the sauce is better than the last time I made it. ;) Ta!

Another Prompt Post

From Submissive Journal Prompts,  "Do you know ‘dying’ skills like sewing, hand-quilting, soap making, etc? How does this improve your service? What skills would you like to learn?"


I know how to sew clothing and a bit of knitting. I'd like to think this helps improve my service because I can do things for Master like sew his work clothes, etc... I'd  like to learn something like soap or candle making, especially because something like candle making could be used in our play, and I know my Master thoroughly enjoys candle-lit dinner. Soap making would be beneficial because I could make special soaps for He and i. I have very sensitive skin and Master and I are both very picky about scents.

My Rules/Protocols

This will probably be updated as time goes on, and as Master sees fit.
